My Philosophy
Learning Through Enjoyment
You only learn if you think the material is interesting or useful. With that in mind, my goal as a teacher is to make the material either interesting or shed light on its importance in the great scheme. I like to teach with the objective of life-long learning, not just passing a course or getting a good grade. I also use a variety of strategies to make class fun and enjoyable. In addition, I also provide online resources that are useful and motivational.

Experience
I began my education career as an Elementary school teacher. I then continued my education and received a Master in Reading Education. That lead me to my current position in Miami Dade College. I have been a professor for over 15 years. I have also tutored for over 10 years. I am experienced in teaching elementary to college.
